November 2021, CANBERRA - Press Release The Inter-agency Committee on the Celebration of the Month of Overseas Filipinos is inviting the Filipino community in Australia to a virtual forum on 24 November to celebrate the resilience of overseas Filipinos during the global pandemic.
The forum will feature officials from the Philippine government who will discuss the programs and services that overseas Filipinos may avail of. There will also be a panel discussion with Filipino community leaders in Australia who will share stories of Bayanihan that shaped the interaction and community-building of overseas Filipinos in Australia.
Overseas Filipinos have been significantly impacted by the health and economic challenges brought about by the pandemic. The virtual forum will highlight the resilience of Filipinos living overseas and the committed and unceasing support of the Philippine government to their welfare.

It is important to note that our office is run by wonderful volunteers who kindly donate their time and patience servicing the Queensland and Northern NSW region. Our mobile phone service is not currently answered, however diverts callers to our website for further information on our services and so they can make appointments. We do check the voicemail system daily and if your message is urgent, we do endeavour to return your call within 24 hours.

The Consulate has moved to the Brisbane CBD Please note that the Consulate has moved to a more convenient location in the CBD. Our CBD office is open on Wednesday’s from 1000 and 1500 for Acknowledgement (red ribbon) and other urgent items such as Visas and Travel Documents. Full address is advised once appointment is confirmed. NO WALK-INS will be accepted. The office at Bowen Hills was closed on Friday 13th May 2016.
NBI Clearance All NBI Clearance Applications will be by MAIL SERVICE. Requests for application forms to be posted are available on our NBI PAGE.

Brisbane Mobile Consular Mission 2022

PAST MOBILE MISSION 2019 ePassports Lodged at Brisbane Mobile Mission on 09-13 September 2019 Ready for Release Passport applicants who lodged their applications during the mobile mission in Brisbane on 09-13 September 2019 may already claim their passports. To claim the ePassports by mail/post, applicants are advised to send the following to the Embassy at 1 Moonah Place, Yarralumla, ACT 2600 through registered post/express post platinum:
Original old/current Passport
Photocopy of Official Receipt
Self-addressed prepaid Registered Post/Express Post Platinum return envelope
The old passport will be cancelled by the Embassy and will be mailed back to the applicant, together with the new passport. Once applicants receive their passport, they are advised to inform and update the Department of Immigration and Border Protection of their new passport details so these can be linked with their visa.
