Temporary Visitor Visa
Visitors coming for business, pleasure, medical treatment, training, attendance in conferences, meetings and workshop/seminars; visitors on board private yacht/sailboat; persons visiting for the purpose of making a movie or film documentary; journalists, athletes and performing artists.
Application for a temporary visitor’s visa may be made by MAIL SERVICE OR APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Walk-ins will no longer be available for these services. ** APPOINTMENT REQUIRED **
The following are the minimum requirements to be submitted to the Consulate for application of a temporary visitor’s visa:
Fees: Restricted Countries - Single Entry 59 Day Visa AU$72.
Non-Restricted Countries - Single Entry 59 Day Visa AU$54, Multiple Entry 6 month Visa AU$108 (each visit to not exceed 59 days), Multiple Entry 12 month Visa AU$162 (each visit to not exceed 59 days).
Please Email Admin to Confirm the Cost for your specific Passport Nationality. (Only necessary if you are doing your Visa application through the post. Otherwise appointment Confirmation Email will include all necessary details.)

Processing Time: Mail Service - 10 days from receipt of completed application form and passport; Appointment - Visas will be processed immediately providing all paperwork is completed correctly.

- Passport/Travel Document Valid for at least six (6) months validity;
- Duly Accomplished visa form at https://dms.philembassy.org.au/index.php/website/download-forms/visa-application/39-non-immigrant-visa-business-pleasure/file which must be subscribed and sworn to before a Justice of Peace if applying by mail;
- 1 x Passport-size Photo;
- Photocopy of confirmed itinerary of return travel or onward journey to the next port of destination; and
- Please include a Prepaid and Self-Addressed Return Express Post Envelope and a money order made out to the Philippine Consulate. Applications may be sent by mail to the following address:

How to Make an Appointment for a VISA
Extension of Authorized Period of Stay in the Philippines:In case a temporary visitor visa holder will exceed his initial authorized period of stay in the Philippines, he will have to report to the Bureau of Immigration, secure an extension of stay and pay the corresponding immigration fees. Information on fees for extension of stay and other Immigration fees are available at the Bureau of Immigration website.

Balikbayan one-year visa-free stayBalikbayans – any overseas Filipino returning to the Philippines, including former Filipinos who have acquired foreign citizenship – can stay in the Philippines without a visa for a period of one year.
The Balikbayan visa-free stay privilege is extended to the Balikbayan’s non-Filipino spouse and children, provided they enter the Philippines with the Balikbayan. |
